custom home build
The goals were to maximize living space for family and guests, and create a property that would also generate income as a beach rental. The reality is an expansive yet efficient 2,870-square-foot Folly Beach home that’s ready-made for entertaining. Bedrooms are set up to be play spaces for children, eschewing bulky furniture for sleek, custom-built bunk beds. There’s a large kitchen and family area, an elevator, and a pool. Built in eight months, the design elements at Red Sunset include timber pile construction, vaulted ceilings, cement board siding and exposed roof rafter tails. And in the evenings, everyone can gather on the outdoor deck adjacent to the family room, to enjoy sunset views over the Folly River.
“Adam and Ben are the consummate professionals. We worked on our job remotely so we did a lot of video calls which required a lot of schedule juggling. CopeGrand always did their best to make the meetings work or let us know when better times for them would be. In addition, CopeGrand’s insights during the project design process were invaluable. They worked seamlessly with our designer to provide real-world pricing impacts to some of the decisions we were making and brought a real builder’s eye to the design process. CopeGrand also coordinated with a number of outside agencies and vendors (e.g., geotechnical survey, boundary survey, topographic survey) and that process was very smooth and professional. I would highly recommend and endorse the team at CopeGrand Homes!“
