We’re grateful

Our Business Is Our Gift

“Our business is our gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give back by changing lives and by changing our community for the better. We’re grateful for the opportunity to work with each and every one of our employees, trade partners, and clients, no matter how small or large the project. Exceeding expectations and delivering value is our Grand Standard.” Adam and Ben Copenhaver

Family is most important

Your Family Is Our Family

When getting to know our clients, we find that family is most important to them. Our goal is to deliver design builds of homes providing for improved health, enhanced structural durability, and increased energy efficiency beyond any home our clients have lived in before. We care for your family as we care for our own, and CopeGrand goes beyond to work in our Charleston area to help strengthen them as well and create the Grand Experience. We understand as residents of the Lowcountry, that our community is made up of your family, which is an extension of our own.

Everyone we meet

Giving Back

Everyone we meet has been affected by hard times, and we are grateful for those charities and organizations in our communities that exist to support our families in need, specifically in South Carolina. Each one of our custom home clients receives a request to identify which local charity or community organization means the most to them, and at CopeGrand, we feel it’s our purpose to give back by helping and supporting those who serve our community.

Even if you are not currently working with CopeGrand, we would like to hear about which local charity or organization means the most to you.

One of the first on the scene

Leading With A Grand Standard

When a tornado suddenly ripped through a 7 mile stretch of our local Johns Island, everyone was scared and unprepared. Over 80 homes were damaged by the tornado rendering many families picking up the scattered pieces and leaving several without a home. A week before the tornado left so many helpless, Ben Copenhaver, one of the founders of CopeGrand, had just finished construction on his own personal home within a short distance of the destruction.

With each new client, and each new relationship, we’re grateful to be able to help countless more with our high quality customer service and luxury home plans.

Loaded with care and equipment – A Community in need

Fortunately his own home was saved; he was one of the first on scene after the tornado. Loaded with the care and equipment to help those in need, Ben witnessed firsthand the real destruction and damage to the families and their children’s homes. Among so many other gracious community members helping in the cleanup efforts, Ben got to know one of the families being displaced from their home…

Our renovations started with that one and helped change a family’s life in one of their toughest times by making their dream home a reality.

After seeing the damage – Making dream homes reality

After seeing the damage these residents personally encountered, and understanding their hardship, Ben, who hadn’t even moved into his new home had offered his home to our local family in need. They lived there with their children until they were able construct a house plan and rebuild with our custom home builders to get back the home that was so abruptly taken from them. Our renovations started with that one and helped change a family’s life in one of their toughest times by making their dream home a reality.
